Tate Carew - USA

On his performance:

“Biggest win of my career, by far.

“I’ve been working really hard. I really enjoy this course, and the group of people who were there with me in the finals, we’ve all been pushing each other really hard all week. I think it was kind of just one of those days that was meant to be.”

On sharing the podium with Keegan Palmer and Jagger Eaton:

“It’s the best feeling ever. We all live really close to each other back in San Diego and we hang out with each other pretty much on a weekly basis. Sharing a podium with them on the other side of the world is the best feeling ever.”

On what’s next:

“I try to never got too cocky. I’m obviously going to go back home and continue to work hard for the next event, but also I want to take some time to appreciate this win. I’m going to just keep learning new tricks when I’m at home, working on my consistency, and keeping my head on straight.”
