Tokyo Olympics, swimming, men’s 200m butterfly final – where to watch Kristof Milak, Tamas Kenderesi live in India

Hungary’s Kristof Milak and countryman Tamas Kenderesi will be in the spotlight in the 200m butterfly finals at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre on Wednesday.

Kristof Milak, who is the current world record holder with 1:50.73 seconds, will be eyeing Michael Phelps’ 13-year-old Olympic record of 1:52.03 seconds and a gold medal.

The 21-year-old Milak topped the semi-finals clocking 1:52.22 seconds, missing the record by 0.19 seconds.

Brazil’s Leonardo de Deus, a three-time Olympian, and South Africa’s Chad le Clos, a London 2012 gold medallist, will be other top contenders.

Kenderesi, who was the fifth-fastest to qualify for the finals, is a bronze medallist from the Rio Olympics. 

Indian swimmer Sajan Prakash didn’t make the cut as he finished 24th overall in the heats.
