The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series got underway with Skate America in the Dallas area on 20-22 October.
American teenager Ilia Malinin successfully defended his title on Saturday (21 October), while Germany's Annika Hocke and Robert Kunkel won their first-ever GP gold in the pairs event.
On Sunday (22 October), reigning world ice dance champions Madison Chock and Evan Bates claimed a fourth win at their home Grand Prix (2014, 2015 and 2021), while Loena Hendrickx of Belgium claimed her second career Grand Prix gold.
Skate America is the first of six Grand Prix stops in the Series this season, which will culminate with December’s Grand Prix Final in Beijing, People's Republic of China.
