White will be 35 when the Winter Olympic Games start in Beijing in 2022.

He was hoping to represent the US at Tokyo 2020 in skateboarding but decided to concentrate on snowboarding.

“I thought, ’I don’t know if I want to bet fully on this, and snowboard was sitting there, so I decided I had to make some tough decisions and I’m going to focus on snowboard,” he said to the Associated Press in January.
