Pro Kabaddi 2024 schedule: Season 11 starts October 18 in Hyderabad
The league stages of PKL Season 11 will be hosted in Hyderabad, Pune and Noida. The playoffs schedule and venues will be announced later.
The Pro Kabaddi League 2024 season will start on October 18 with a clash between Telugu Titans and Bengaluru Bulls at the GMC Balayogi Sports Complex in Hyderabad.
Now in its 11th season, the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) will be returning to a three-city format.
The kabaddi matches will kick off in Hyderabad from October 18 to November 9 before heading to the Noida Indoor Stadium in Noida for the second leg, starting November 10.
The final leg of PKL 11 will take place at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune from December 3 to December 24.
All match days in the league stage will be a double-header with the first match starting at 8:00 PM and second at 9:00 PM IST.
The PKL Season 11 playoffs is scheduled from December 26 to 29 at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune.
In the previous edition, 12 cities hosted the league stages in 12 different legs before the playoffs were held in Hyderabad. Puneri Paltan defeated Haryana Steelers 28-25 in the final to win their first PKL title. The defending champions will kick start their season on October 19.
Raider Sachin Tanwar, an Asian Games gold medallist, was the top pick among kabaddi players in the auction held in August.
Mohammadreza Chiyaneh of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who recorded the most tackle points last season, will be the leading overseas player. He will play for the Haryana Steelers.
Pardeep Narwal, the most successful raider in PKL history, returned to the Bengaluru Bulls while Pawan Sehrawat returned to the Telugu Titans. Iran’s Fazel Atrachali, the PKL’s most successful defender, was picked up by the Bengal Warriorz.
