Paige Heyn - USA - qualified
On witnessing the battle for the three Japanese women’s street Olympic quota spots play out:
“It was very hectic. All of the Japanese girls were fighting for a spot at the Olympics, so everybody was just throwing down their hardest tricks.
“It was awesome to see everybody doing their hardest stuff, but also being on the course and watching them was super emotional. Honestly, I wanted to cry. It sucks seeing all of these girls working their hardest and not all of them are going to make it (to the Games).”
On making it to Paris 2024:
“I’m super stoked to make it to the Olympics. It’s always been my dream, so I’m excited to see where the path leads me.”
