So close yet so far for the Indians!

Vishnu Vardhan and Krishna Prasad did ever so well to take the fight to the favourites but eventually fell short by a slender margin. 

There's a lot of lessons that the young Indians can take away from this match and their coach Mathias Boe, the silver medallist from London 2012, should be happy with what his wards have achieved at the Orleans Open.

It's a close one to call. Both the pairs have had their moments.

While the English have relied on their experience to test the young Indian pair, Vishnu Vardhan and Krishna Prasad are playing their heart out in their first-ever final on the BWF World Tour.

The young Indian pair will have to do it the hard way of they are to win their maiden BWF Tour tile. 

Though Krishna Prasad and Vishnu Vardhan showed some fight in the latter stages of the second game, it wasn't enough as Ben Lane and Sean Vendy strick to their gameplan to draw level.

The English pair have continued from where they left off in the opening game and have managed a four-point lead at the break.

Vendy and Lane have looked in control of the game with some powerful strokes and smart use of the court.

The Indians are in dreamland! They take the opening game in style. 

Though the high-ranked English pair fought back well after a below-par start, the Indians have managed to hold on to their lead and take the first game against the 4th seeds.

The India duo has come out flying in their opening contest on the final day of the Orleans Open. There's an extra spike in their steps and that's somewhat unsettled their opponents.

The young Indian pair of Krishna Prasad and Vishnu Vardhan are in with a chance of winning their maiden BWF Tour title at the 2021 Orleans Masters today.

Though the BWF Super 100 began on a promising note for the Indian badminton players, none apart from the men’s doubles pair could make the final.

Krishna Prasad and Vishnu Vardhan are up against the world No. 18 Ben Lane and Sean Vendy of England. The English duo have had a fruitful year so far with a semi-final appearance at the BWF World Tour Finals coming on the heels of a quarters show at the Toyota Thailand Open.
