The men's 2023 Six Nations Championship begins on 4 February, with European rugby bragging rights up for grabs ahead of the Rugby World Cup in France this September.
Ireland, currently the world's No. 1 team, are arguably the favourites to win.
Their talisman and captain, Johnny Sexton, will once again be key to their success alongside tireless openside flanker Josh Van der Flier.
But reigning champions and World No. 2-ranked France have the stardust - like 2021 World Rugby Player of the Year Antoine Dupont - to beat any team on their day.
Crucially, those two teams meet in Dublin on 11 February, and home advantage could make all the difference.
Elsewhere, England and Wales will look to rebound from a poor 2022 with respective head coaches, Steve Borthwick and Warren Gatland, parachuted back to revitalise their respective nations.
Scotland, who have the ability to cause major upsets through maverick fly-half Finn Russell, will hope to add the consistency to their game.
Finally, Italy, who possess one of the tournament's most deadly finishers in Ange Capuozzo, will once again have their work cut out if they are to avoid finishing in last place.
Among the plethora of stars on show, keep an eye out for Scottish winger Ruaridh McConnochie, who won rugby sevens silver with Great Britain at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
