All that glitters _is_ gold if you're <a href="https://olympics.com/tokyo-2020/paralympic-games/en/results/swimming/athlete-profile-n1690685-long-jessica.htm" target="_blank">Jessica Long</a> who claimed a 14th Paralympics <a href="https://olympics.com/tokyo-2020/paralympic-games/en/results/swimming/results-women-s-200m-individual-medley-sm8-fnl-000100-.htm#" target="_blank">swimming</a> gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Games on Saturday (28 August).

Long had to be content with bronze on Friday in the <a href="https://olympics.com/tokyo-2020/paralympic-games/en/results/swimming/event-schedule-women-s-100m-backstroke-s8.htm" target="_blank">100m backstroke S8 final</a>, but there was no stopping her in Saturday's SM8 <a href="https://olympics.com/tokyo-2020/paralympic-games/en/results/swimming/results-women-s-200m-individual-medley-sm8-fnl-000100-.htm" target="_blank">200m individual medley</a>. It's her fourth straight 200m IM title at the Paralympics.

Long clocked 2:41.49 to guarantee gold ahead of Italian swimmer and silver medallist **Xenia Palazzo** with **Mariia Pavlova** collecting bronze, representing the ROC.

It looks like it's going to be another golden summer for 29-year-old Long who has dominated the freestyle, butterfly and IM medley events all the way back to Athens 2004.

Right now her collection of precious Paralympic metal includes 14 gold, six silver and five bronze medals earned at five straight Paras.

And she's far from finished in Tokyo, having medalled in her first two events she'll take part in three more:

Women's 400m freestyle - S8, 100m breaststroke - SB7, and 100m butterfly - S8.

Don't be surprised if the gold rush continues.
