ISSF World Cup Changwon, live streaming: Manu Bhaker, Mairaj Ahmad Khan to lead India – full schedule

Olympians Manu Bhaker and Mairaj Ahmad Khan will be some of the top Indian shooters at the ISSF World Cup 2022 in Changwon, South Korea starting from Sunday.
The Changwon meet is the final stage of the ISSF World Cup this year before the ISSF World Championships take place in September-October. More than 30 Indian shooters will feature across the rifle, pistol and shotgun disciplines.
Apart from individual competitions, there will be team and mixed events at the shooting World Cup.
Manu Bhaker, a Youth Olympic Games champion, will be competing in her pet 10m and 25m pistol events. Mairaj Ahmad Khan will be India’s best bet in the shotgun skeet event.
India will also have high hopes from their rifle shooters competing at the Changwon International Shooting Range.
Olympians Chain Singh, Sanjeev Rajput and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar have been selected for the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions competition. Tokyo Olympian Anjum Moudgil has been included in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions.
At the ISSF World Cup in Baku last month, Anjum Moudgil clinched a silver in the women’s individual event. Ashi Chouksey, who combined with Swapnil Kusale to win mixed team gold in 50m rifle 3 positions in Baku, is also in the Indian squad.
Commonwealth Games champion Anish Bhanwala (men’s pistol), world junior championships silver medallist Esha Singh (women’s pistol) and former junior world champion Elavenil Valarivan (women’s rifle) are some of the other established shooters in the Indian team.
Asian Games champion Rahi Sarnobat opted out of the meet due to medical reasons.
There will be a total of 30 gold medals on offer in Changwon across the rifle, pistol and shotgun disciplines. More than 432 athletes from 44 nations will be competing in South Korea.
In the previous combined World Cup stage in Baku, Azerbaijan, India returned with two gold and three silver medals.
In the overall 2022 standings, India are fifth with four golds, three silvers and two bronze. Germany, with nine golds, six silvers and four bronze are on top of the table.
The ISSF World Cup Changwon will conclude on July 20.

Live streaming of the ISSF World Cup 2022 Changwon will be available on the ISSF Facebook page. Only the finals of each event will be streamed live. There will be no live telecast of the event on any TV channel in India.
