The second leg of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21 season will start January 12 with NorthEast United FC taking on former champions Bengaluru FC, as per the schedule released on Saturday.

The remaining ISL 2020-21 fixtures will feature six double-headers, all of them to be played on Sundays. The group stages will end on February 28, 2021 with a marquee clash between two of the ISL’s most impressive teams this season in Mumbai City FC (MCFC) and ATK Mohun Bagan (ATKMB).

The second ISL Kolkata Derby, ATK Mohun Bagan vs SC East Bengal, will be played on February 19.

Mumbai City FC have been in tremendous form in the first half of the ISL season, winning 16 points from seven games with five wins, one draw and just a single loss, as they chase a maiden ISL title.

They have scored 11 goals, the second-best in the league, and have conceded just three goals, the joint-best defensive record, along with ATK Mohun Bagan.

ATK Mohun Bagan have been the closest challengers to Mumbai City FC, having kept up the pressure with a near-identical record of five wins, two draws and a loss.

They currently lead the table with 17 points in eight games, but have played one game more than Mumbai City FC.
