Live streaming, Hylo Open 2023: Watch Indian badminton players in action
An injured PV Sindhu and India’s top men’s singles badminton players will not compete in the BWF Super 300 event.

In the absence of star Indian badminton players, Kiran George, Aakarshi Kashyap and Malvika Bansod will spearhead the country’s challenge at the Hylo Open 2023 in Saarbrucken, Germany starting Tuesday.
The Hylo Open 2023 will be played on the badminton courts of the Saarlandhalle indoor arena. All matches will be available on live streaming in India.
Results at the Hylo Open 2023, a BWF Super 300 event, will also count towards qualifying rankings for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
PV Sindhu, who got injured while competing in the second round of the French Open last week, has given the tournament a miss. Aakarshi Kashyap, India’s second-best ranked woman shuttler at world No. 38 and Malvika Bansod, 50th in the badminton rankings, are the two Indians slated to compete in the women’s singles event.
In the men’s singles, the onus will be on world No. 35 Kiran George to deliver results for India with world championships medallists HS Prannoy, Lakshya Sen and Kidambi Srikanth not in the fray. Kiran George made it to the semi-finals of the Abu Dhabi Masters earlier this month and won the first Indonesia Masters BWF Super 100 event in September.
Veteran Ashwini Ponnappa will team up with Tanisha Crasto in the women’s doubles event. Ashwini Ponnappa-Tanisha Crasto claimed their first BWF title as a pair at the Abu Dhabi Masters earlier this month.
Tanisha Crasto will also be in action with Sai Prateek in the mixed doubles. There’s no Indian entry in the men’s doubles.
Where to watch Hylo Open 2023 badminton live in India
Live streaming of Hylo Open 2023 badminton matches will be available on the Badminton World Federation’s official YouTube channel BWF TV. The event will not be telecast live on any TV channels in India.
