More history awaits seven-time Olympic medallist Simone Biles at the 2023 U.S. Gymnastics Championships in San Jose, California.
The 26-year-old has the opportunity to become the only gymnast – man or woman – to win eight U.S. all-around titles. Currently, Biles’ seven titles is tied with Alfred Jochim, who last won the U.S. title some 90 years ago.
Biles comes to San Jose as the heavy favourite after a dominating performance at the U.S. Classic earlier in August that answered any question about the state of her return to the sport after a nearly two-year hiatus.
