The final list of qualified nations for the Women’s EURO 2025 football tournament has been confirmed.
Sixteen teams will compete for the UEFA European Championship crown, currently held by England who won their home tournament in 2022 (delayed from 2021 due to the Covid pandemic), beating Germany in extra-time at Wembley Stadium.
This time Switzerland will be the hosts, with the tournament taking place between 2-27 July 2025
World champions Spain are setting their sights on a first continental title to add to their FIFA Women's World Cup star, with their best finish coming back in 1997 when they made the semi-finals.
The first team to qualify after the hosts were Paris 2024 bronze medallists and record eight-time European champions Germany, who will head across the border fancying their chances.
As well as the big hitters, two teams will be making their Euros debut, as Poland and Wales won their play-off ties across November and December 2024.
The Swiss are hosting the women’s Euros for the first time, 17 years after they co-hosted the men’s European Championship alongside neighbours Austria.
They will get the tournament underway on 2 July 2025 at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, where the final will also take place on 27 July 2025.
