Olympic football champions Canada are a team on the hunt with another major title up for grabs at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Led by coach Bev Priestman and captain Christine Sinclair, the side ranked sixth in the world is among a group the teams favoured to go far Down Under.
In their opening game of Group B the Red and White were held to a 0-0 draw by Nigeria after a save from Super Falcons' goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie on a Sinclair penalty.
The Canadians returned to winning ways in their second outing of the tournament, coming from behind to beat Republic of ireland 2-1. Katie McCabe fired the World Cup debutants ahead inside four minutes, with a goal directly from a corner kick, but an own-goal on the stroke of half-time and Adriana Leon's second-half strike saw them pick up maximum points on Wednesday 26 July.
They'll be looking to cement their place in the next round against co-hosts Australia on Monday 31 July.
