The last day of the European Championships in Munich on Sunday 21 August will feature six sports for a total of 35 gold medals.

At the Olympiahalle six artistic gymnastics' titles will be awarded in the apparatus finals and amongst the favourites are Italy's world champion Nicola Bartolini (floor), Britain's all-around European gold medallist Joe Fraser (vault, parallel bars) and Greece's Olympic champion Eleftherios Petrounias (Rings) .

In the athletics programme, two-time world silver medallist Yaroslava Mahuchikh is expected to be the woman to beat in the high jump event: the Olympic bronze medallist will chase her first continental title as a senior, following golds in the U18, U20 and U23 categories.

In the men's 800 final Jake Wightman will look to add another medal to his trophy cabinet after collecting 1,500m gold and bronze at the Worlds and Commonwealth Games, respectively. The Scottish runner clocked the second-best time in the semi-finals behind Spain's Mariano Garcia.

In beach beach volleyball, Olympic and World champions Anders Mol and Christian Sorum are expected to feature in the men's final as they seek their fifth continental title, while in table tennis the new European singles champions will be crowned.
