Caster Semenya files appeal against CAS ruling - “The IAAF will not drug me or stop me from being who I am.”

Double Olympic 800m champion Caster Semenya has filed an appeal to the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland.
The South African is challenging the recent ruling against her by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in favor of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
The ruling from the CAS means Semenya and other athletes with differences in sexual development (DSD) will have to take medication to reduce their testosterone if they want to continue running on the world stage at events between 400m and a mile.

The triple world 800m champion is asking the Swiss Federal Supreme Court to set aside the decision of the CAS in its entirety.
Her appeal will be focusing on fundamental human rights.
