Buckle up!
The fifth edition of the WDSF Breaking World Championships will take place from December 20th to December 21st. The world’s top B-Boys and B-Girls will battle it out at the Chengdu Chengbei Venue, the same location that will be hosting breaking events during the 2025 IWGA World Games.
Around 300 athletes from 50 countries are scheduled to compete, hoping to be crowned 2024 world champion.
This year’s event is a unique event as it will also serve as a qualifier for the 2025 World Games. Only the best two athletes per gender will qualify directly.
The others are keen on scoring as many points as possible for the WDSF World Ranking. 16 B-Boys and 16 B-Girls will eventually feature at the 2025 IWGA World Games.
