Kevin Durant is the headline act in a USA men's basketball team packed with stars.
'KD' has been breaking records at Tokyo 2020 as well as leading the U.S. to gold on Saturday (7 August). The NBA stars beat France 87-82 to claim their fourth straight Olympic title.
Durant joins Carmelo Anthony as the only three-time gold medallist in Olympic men's basketball history, but he's already eclipsed 'Melo' on one count.

Against the Czech Republic, Durant overtook Carmelo Anthony as the USA men's leading point scorer in Olympic history.
He has now taken his tally to 435 points in 22 games, against Anthony's 336 points in 31 games. LeBron James is third with 273 points.
The 32-year-old has recorded double figures in all of those appearances, and exceeded 20 points on nine occasions. He was also the USA's points leader at London 2012 (156) and Rio 2016 (155).
Durant's 19.3 points per game average is also the best of any American man, as is his tally of 71 three-pointers.
In Tokyo, he has moved above James (96) into third for all-time U.S. men's rebounds. He is on 118 with only David Robinson (124) and Anthony (125) ahead of him.

Kevin Durant statistics in the NBA
Durant was picked second overall by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 NBA Draft, and was named Rookie of the Year in 2008.
He joined Anthony and James as the only teenagers to average over 20 points for a season.
The SuperSonics soon became the Oklahoma City Thunder where Durant became the youngest man to win the NBA scoring title in 2010.
He also took it in 2011 and 2012, becoming the eighth player in NBA history to claim a hat-trick of scoring crowns.
In 2014, Durant won his sole NBA MVP crown after averaging a league-leading 32.0 points per game and winning his fourth NBA scoring title.
After joining the Golden State Warriors in 2016, he helped lead them to two consecutive NBA titles (2017-18), winning the NBA Finals MVP award on both occasions.
He is an 11-time All-Star and a two-time NBA champion He has also been part of the All-NBA First Team six times.
From November 2015 to June 2016, he scored at least 20 points in 72 consecutive regular-season games, tying Michael Jordan for the fourth-longest 20-point streak in NBA history.
After rupturing his Achilles tendon in the 2019 NBA Finals, where Golden State lost in six games to the Toronto Raptors, Durant joined the Brooklyn Nets but had to sit out the entire 2019-20 season to recover from his injury.
Durant is just the ninth player in NBA history to have recorded at least 22,000 points, 5,000 rebounds, 3,000 assists and 900 blocks.
In the February 2023 trade deadline, Durant was acquired by the Phoenix Suns.
