The Archery World Cup Final 2024 will be held in Tlaxcala, Mexico over the weekend with 32 of the season’s best archers set to compete for top honours in the individual events.
The last international archery competition of the 2024 season, the Archery World Cup Final will involve individual men’s and women’s competitions in recurve and compound archery. Live streaming will be available in India.
Five Indian archers - Asian Games champion Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Olympians Deepika Kumari and Dhiraj Bommadevara along with Priyansh and Prathamesh Fuge - will compete in Tlaxcala.

The archers qualified for the World Cup Final either by winning one of the three World Cup stages held in Shanghai, Yecheon and Antalya, winning the individual recurve events at Paris 2024 or through World Cup rankings.
India won 14 medals, including seven gold medals, from the three stages of the archery World Cup this year. However, Jyothi Surekha Vennam won India’s only individual gold by winning the women’s compound archery event at the Shanghai World Cup.
The remaining four Indian archers qualified for the World Cup Final through ranking points accumulated from the World Cup series.
Four-time Olympian Deepika Kumari won an individual silver medal in the women’s recurve archery at the Shanghai World Cup.
Priyansh, individual silver medallist in the men’s compound archery at Shanghai and Antalya legs of the World Cup and Prathamesh Fuge, team gold medallist in the men’s compound event in Shanghai, will feature in the men’s compound archery.
Paris 2024 Olympian men’s recurve archer Dhiraj Bommadevara won individual bronze in Antalya and men’s team gold in Shanghai to make the cut for the Archery World Cup Final in Mexico.
In total, nine of the 16 archers competing in the recurve events at the World Cup final in Mexico won medals at Paris 2024 Olympics.
Lim Sihyeon of the Republic of Korea enters the World Cup Final as the woman to beat in the recurve event. The 21-year-old South Korean archer won three gold medals (individual, team and mixed-team) at Paris 2024.
Men’s recurve archery will see Olympic champion Kim Woojin and his team-mate Lee Woo Seok, bronze medalist at Paris 2024 and Brazil's Marcus D'Almeida, defending champion, vie for the gold medal.
