The much-awaited heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou will take place in the Knockout Chaos pro-boxing main event at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in the wee hours of Saturday.

Joshua is a two-time unified world heavyweight champion. On the other hand, Ngannou is a former UFC champion and made a move to pro boxing last year.

Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou in Knockout Chaos is scheduled for 3:40 AM IST on Saturday and will be available to watch on live streaming in India.

Joshua comes into the fight against Ngannou on the back of a dominating win against Otto Wallin in Riyadh back in December. The British boxer defeated his Swede opponent in six rounds.

The 34-year-old British pro boxer lost his unified WBA, IBF and WBO titles to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and failed to reclaim them in a 2022 rematch. However, Joshua has a staggering record of 27 wins and three losses in his pro-boxing career and has returned to winning ways since the defeats.

On the other hand, Cameroon-born Ngannou had a record of 17 wins and three losses in the UFC and made an impressive pro-boxing debut against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in October last year. Though Ngannou lost against Fury, he landed heavy punches and only lost via split decision.

If Joshua wins, the London 2012 Olympic champion, is expected to challenge Fury or Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight championship title later this year.

Fury, a WBC heavyweight champion, will face WBA, IBF and WBO champion Usyk at the Kingdom Arena in May. All the four heavyweight titles will be at stake.
