If you want to power your way into the New Year, then Alyce Burnett is the woman to speak to.
Australia's 2017 kayak sprint 1000m world champion has been a member of the national team for 10 years, and is currently preparing for her second Olympic Games.
That would be enough for most people but Burnett is also a motivational speaker, runs a digital marketing business, and works as an educator for Sports Integrity Australia.
On top of that, she's an ambassador for BITE BACK - an online mental health initiative for young people - and an active Surf Life Saver.
It's fair to say that the 28-year-old has a lot on her plate, but she says, "People often say I'm too busy, but I disagree. The way I see it, there's a difference between being busy and being productive, and this is exactly the message I love to share."
Burnett has teamed up with the IOC and Worldwide Olympic Partner Airbnb to host an Online Experience where you can join the self-confessed coffee addict for a 'Cup of Productivity.'
"If you’re busy you can be good at everything, whereas when you’re productive you can be great at a few important things." - Alyce Burnett
The Online Olympic Experience
Burnett loves catching up with people on 'coffee dates' and that's what she wants to do with you.
Grab a beverage of your choice and listen to the Queenslander talk about her sporting career and life before joining in with fun activities looking at routines and what "being busy" actually entails.
Then there will be time for a Q&A session where you can ask her anything about "being an Olympian, a business owner, or a self-diagnosed coffee addict".
And, of course, what it's like to be an athlete getting ready for an Olympic Games - Tokyo 2020 - postponed by a year due to the global pandemic.
"When I’m busy I get overwhelmed and out of control, while when I’m productive I’m very focused, efficient, and have a clear purpose."
Burnett, who is married to another Australian kayak sprint world champion in Jordan Wood, competed at Rio 2016 in the K-2 500m with Alyssa Bull.
The pair surprised even themselves by reaching the final.
The Games in Tokyo were always the plan for the 'AB's' who will be hoping to win a medal at the Sea Forest Waterway.
That would certainly make it a productive 2021 for this coffee lover.
