The 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 2024 is heading into the business with the quarter-finals of the football about to begin.

After a scintillating round of 16, that saw further upsets including the departure of Cameroon and defending champions Senegal, just eight teams are left in the tournament hosted by Côte d'Ivoire:

Nigeria, Angola, DR Congo, Guinea, South Africa, Cape Verde, Côte d'Ivoire and Mali.

From 2-3 February the remaining teams will battle to determine which four will make it through to the semi-finals and one step closer to AFCON glory.

Saturday 3 February

  • Mali vs Côte d'Ivoire - Stade de la Paix, Bouake, 5pm
  • Cape Verde vs South Africa - Charles Konan Banny Stadium, Yamoussoukro, 8pm

Where to watch Africa Cup of Nations 2023 live?

The 2023 AFCON, being held in 2024, will be broadcast across Africa and worldwide, with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) making the tournament available across the continent on free-to-air TV.

Other broadcasters include beIN Sport, which will broadcast the tournament in the Middle East and North Africa region as well as in France and the United States; CANAL+, which will show the event in French in Sub-Saharan Africa; GTV in Ghana; AfroSport in Nigeria; Supersports in South Africa; ZIGGO Sport in the Netherlands; and the CAF's own media channels will also show games in some countries.
