The 2023 edition of the AFC Asian Cup is just around the corner.
Just over a year on from hosting the 2022 World Cup, Qatar will once again welcome a football tournament to their homeland as reigning champions - after defeating Japan four years ago - of this competition.
After being expanded in 2019, the competition will now see 24 teams bid for glory.
Lusail Stadium will host the opening game, before welcoming back the final two sides for the conclusion of the competition on February 10.
Held between 12 January and 10 February, the top two from each group will advance to the knockout stages, along with the four best runners-up.
The Round of 16 begins on 28 January, before the tournament concludes 13 days later.
