Adam Rippon has never been shy about voicing his opinion. Now he has the perfect platform to do so.
The PyeongChang 2018 figure skating bronze medallist has signed up to become one of the judges on 'Dancing With the Stars: Juniors'.
This will be familiar territory for Rippon: he was crowned champion in the all-athletes season of the show earlier this year.
Judges revealed
Rippon is one of the judges for the show revealed by Good Morning America.
Lining up alongside the figure skater are La La Land choreographer Mandy Moore and professional dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy.
Chmerkovskiy teamed up with Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez to win the mirrorball trophy two years ago.
Rippon it up
The 28-year-old figure skater had an incredible time as a competitor on DWTS.
After being crowned champion alongside his dance partner Jenna Johnson, Rippon described it as being "above and beyond everything I thought it would be."
Rippon was one of the ten teams of athletes who competed in the shortened, four-week, all-athlete edition of the show.
Competitor turned judge
Now the tables have turned and Rippon is going to dishing out the marks instead of trying to impress on the dancefloor.
In the junior version of the show, both the celebrities and the dancers will be children.
Rippon is renowned for his sharp wit and caustic tongue when needed: so how nice or nasty is he going to be?
All will be revealed when the new show gets underway on October 7th.
