The 2023 World Wrestling Championships has kicked off in Belgrade, Serbia.

Between 16-24 September world titles will be won in all three wrestling divisions: men’s freestyle, women’s wrestling, and Greco-Roman.

A whopping 90 Olympic Games Paris 2024 quotas are on offer at the event.

Being less than a year away from Paris 2024, the 2023 World Wrestling Championships will give a strong indication of who will be battling for the medals in the French capital.

As National Olympic Committees (NOCs) have exclusive authority over the representation of their respective countries at the Olympic Games, athletes' participation at the Paris Games depends on their NOC selecting them to represent their delegation at Paris 2024.
