The 2023 FEI Jumping season comes to a close this week (28 September - 1 October) in Barcelona, Spain, with the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final.
In addition to the presitigious team trophy on offer, there is also the 'small' matter of an Olympic quota spot available for the highest ranked team that is yet to qualify for Paris 2024, meaning we can expect a fierce battle between the squads of Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, USA and Uzbekistan. As National Olympic Committees have the exclusive authority for the representation of their respective countries at the Olympic Games, athletes' participation at the Paris Games depends on their NOC selecting them to represent their delegation at Paris 2024.
Here is all the key information to know about the event.

Teams to watch
While the North and South American teams will have one more opportunity to earn a quota for Paris 2024 at the Pan-American Games in November, the Nations Cup final represents the last chance for Italy and Uzbekistan to secure an Olympic quoata.
Tokyo 2020 silver medallists USA have sent a strong team to Spain, which includes Olympians Laura Kraut, Jessica Springsteen and McLain Ward — all of whom finished on the podium in Japan in 2021.
Belgium, who won this competition last year and secured a Paris 2024 qualifying spot in the process, return with three members of last year's winning side: Koen Vereecke, Gregory Wathelet and Gilles Thomas.
