In addition to winning a gold medal in 1920, Bill Peacock of Paisley SC was a reserve on the Olympic water polo team in 1912 and 1924. In the 1920 Olympic final he scored Britain’s first goal in their 3-2 win over Belgium. He also was a non-playing reserve in 1912 and 1924. Nationally, Peacock won five consecutive Scottish Championships from 1910-14. He played a total of 11 games for Scotland.
