Biography

Ricardo Rusticucci competed in five Olympic Games – 1972, 1976, 1984, 1992, and 1996. He also competed in six Pan American Games, winning seven medals, including a gold in 1995 in the small-bore rifle, three positions. He added three silver and three bronze Pan Am medals, as follows: 1983 team high power rifle, prone (2); 1987 team small-bore rifle, prone (2), 1995 team small-bore rifle, 3 positions (2); 1979 team air rifle (3); 1983 high-power rifle, 3 positions (3); and 1983 team air rifle (3). He was a four-time South American champion. In Argentina he was a five-time winner of the Olympic Award. Rusticucci graduated from the Carlos Pellegrini Institute and had his own workshop, which specialized in sharpening tools.
