Raimondo was slightly the more successful, although they both won six Olympic medals in the show jumping events. Raimondo won one gold, two silver, and three bronze medals, while Piero won two silver and four bronze medals. Raimondo D'Inzeo won his medals as follows: 1956 individual show jumping bronze and team show jumping silver (riding Merano), 1960 individual show jumping gold and team show jumping bronze aboard Posillipo, 1964 team show jumping bronze, also riding Posillipo, and a third bronze in team show jumping in 1972, this time aboard Fiorello II. Both brothers followed their father in making their career in the Italian cavalry.
