Biography

Otto von Müller, captain in the 1st Guard Regiment by Feet, competed in singles and doubles at the 1912 Olympics, making the quarter-finals of the singles. In the absence of Otto Froitzheim, von Müller was 1912 German Champion in singles, and won the 1908 and 1910 German title in doubles, playing with Heinrich Schomburgk. Schomburgk was also his doubles partner in Stockholm. In the rank of Major, von Müller served as aide-de-camp to the German Crown Prince in World War I. As a military man, he used the pseudonym Otto in tournaments.
