Biography

Otto Trieloff, a 400 runner, won the silver medal in the 4x400 relay at the 1908 London Olympics, where he was eliminated in the open 400 heats. The relay easily won their opening heat, but could not match the American team in the final. The same year Trieloff was also German Champion.

After World War II he became a school teacher. His twin brother Wilhelm was also a 400 runner and discus thrower, and later became a well-known opera singer.
