Biography
Omar left his country when circumstances became difficult for him in his native Ethiopia. When he was forced to leave, he made the long and difficult journey to Denmark, where he now lives. Thankfully he has been able to continue his sporting career in his new country, where he has won a number of races.
He is convinced that by hard work, he can grow and achieve anything he sets his mind to. Now Omar hopes to represent refugees from all over the world by becoming part of the Refugee Olympic Team Paris 2024.
