As a participant in multiple events, Olaf Sletten won two silver medals and one bronze medal in 1920 at Antwerpen. He returned in 1924 to compete with the small-bore rifle but with little success. His greatest international success in individual events was a bronze medal at the 1924 World Championships with the free rifle, kneeling. In Norway he won the 1923 Skymoens Prize and the Ladies’ Cup three times between 1909 and 1920, thus taking the first cup for good. Professionally, Sletten traded scrap metal.
