Biography

José Colomer was capped 75 times with the Spanish national team and played at three consecutive Olympics starting in 1960, winning an Olympic bronze in 1960. At the club level, Colomer played with CD Terrassa and won the Copa del Rey de Hockey Hierba (the second most important hockey competition in Spain) in 1955, 1966 and 1967 and Catalan championships in 1956 and 1959. Colomer was the president of CD Terrassa from 1983-87 and was also a board member of the Catalan Hockey Federation. By profession Colomer was a chemist.
