Johannes DROST
Johannes Drost, representing the swimming club of his native Rotterdam, competed in the 200 meter backstroke, where he edged out his compatriot Bloemen for third place, the first Dutch Olympic swimming medal. Professionally, Drost was a lawyer, and he served in the board of various organizations, including president of the International Bar Association.
