Biography

Jessica Fox is a four-time Olympian who represents Australia in canoe slalom events. With six Olympic medals - three golds, one silver and two bronze - she has cemented her status as a sporting legend not just in Australia but globally.

The Australian athlete is the reigning Olympic champion in the women’s C1 (canoe) and women’s K1 (kayak) and has also won over a dozen gold medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships across the two events.

Jessica’s success in individual events across the Olympics, World Championships and World Cups makes her the greatest individual paddler in the history of the sport.

Born on June 11, 1994, in Marseille, France, Jessica Fox grew up in a family of champions.

Her father, Richard Fox, is a five-time world champion and represented Great Britain at the Barcelona 1992 Olympics while mother Myriam Fox-Jerusalmi won an Olympic bronze medal for France at Atlanta 1996.

The Fox family moved to Australia when Jessica was four after her father was appointed coach for the Australian canoe slalom team ahead of the Sydney 2000 Games.
