Canada's Jennifer Jones has announced she will retire from four-player women’s curling at the end of the season.
The 49-year-old two-time Olympian and Sochi 2014 gold medallist confirmed the decision in a post on social media on Tuesday (13 February).

Team Canada’s Beijing 2022 curling skip Jennifer Jones and her rink have shared on social media that they intend to part ways at the end of 2021/2022 season.
The team, featuring Kaitlyn Lawes, Dawn McEwen, Jocelyn Peterman and alternate Lisa Weagle made the announcement on Twitter on Monday (14 March):

For Brett Gallant curling at Beijing 2022 is a family affair

Voted the best Canadian curler in history by her peers, Sochi 2014 gold medallist Jennifer Jones is one busy woman. As well as her sporting exploits, Jones works as a legal advisor and is mum to two girls. Having former world champion curler Brent Laing as her husband certainly helps, and Jones credits "being in the moment" for her ability to juggle all her roles successfully.

Canada expects men's and women's success after mixed doubles disappointment
