James DOEHRING

Jim Doehring threw the shot at the 1988 and 1992 Olympics, winning a silver medal in 1992. He also won silver at the 1993 World Indoor Championships. Doehring was US Champion in 1990 and was runner-up in 1989 and 1992, with the 1992 meet doubling as the Olympic Trials. Doehring served a drug ban between the 1988 and 1992 Olympics after he tested positive for anabolic steroids.
