Biography

Harald Bosio competed in three Winter Olympics (1928-1936) in cross-country skiing, jumping and Nordic combined. His best result was an eighth place with the Austrian relay team in 1936 and individually his best was a 21st place in the 18 km run in 1932. He won his only international medal at the 1933 World Championships in his home country, Austria, taking bronze, which was also the country’s first medal ever at the Nordic Ski World Championships. At home, Bosio, who worked as a dentist, was Austrian Champion in Nordic skiing in 1928 and 1931.
