Elvira BECKS

During her career, teenager Elvira Becks was the best Dutch gymnast. She became the first Dutch competitor in gymnastics in 20 years at the Barcelona Games, placing 22nd in the all-around competition. The previous year, she had achieved her best international performance, placing 9th in the vault qualifications at the World Championships. Becks retired after the Barcelona Games. She acted as a gymnastics coach before switching to show business, appearing in musicals and working as an acrobat for Cirque du Soleil.
