Dusty Dvorak played collegiate volleyball at Southern Cal, leading them to the NCAA title in his senior year when he was named MVP at the NCAA Final Four. In the summers he played both indoors with clubs and on the beach, frequently partnering Sinjin Smith. Dvorak is considered one of the greatest setters in volleyball history. Joining the US National Team after graduating from USC, Dvorak helped the USA win the volleyball Triple Crown, winning the 1984 Olympic gold, the 1985 World Cup, and the 1986 World Championships. Dvorak was named one of the three Outstanding Players at the 1983 Savin Cup in the USSR and was named Outstanding Setter at the 1986 Worlds. He later played beach volleyball in the Bud Light 4-man tour, where he was several times an All-League selection. Dvorak was inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame in 1998.
