Andrzej Grabarczyk was a long and triple jumper, who was a seven-time Polish Champion. He won the triple jump outdoors in 1988, 1990, and 1991, and indoors in 1989-91, adding an indoor long jump title in 1991. In addition to his two Olympic appearances, Grabarczyk competed at the 1991 World Championships, placing 12th in triple jump. He also competed in the World Indoor Championships (1989, 1991), twice and the European Indoor Championships in 1989 an 1990. Grabarczyk competed in six international matches for Poland.
