Biografie

Kim So-Hui was the 1992 all-round world champion, claiming that title with wins in the 1,500 and 3,000 m. Two years later, Kim placed second overall behind Canada's Nathalie Lambert, while again winning the 1,500 m. She added several more distance medals, including several relay silvers and bronzes to her World Championship collection through 1995. In Olympic competition, Kim was eliminated in the quarter-final stage in her only individual event at the 1992 Olympics (Korea had failed to qualify for the relay), but in 1994 she finished third in the 1,000 m and earned a gold with the Korean relay squad. From 2003-2004, Kim briefly coached the China short track team.
