Nicolae Fedosei had the following podium finishes at the Flatwater World Championships: 1st 1983 K4 1000 m (with Ionel Constantin, Ionel Lețcaie, and Angelin Velea), 2nd 1986 K4 10000 m (with Ionel Constantin, Ionel Lețcaie, and the non-Olympian Alexandru Dulau).
