Inger MILLER

The daughter of Jamaican sprint star Lennox Miller, Inger Miller was to the sprinting manor born, but she made her own legend. Inger was the 1999 200 metre World Champion and the 100 metre silver medalist. She also won gold at the 1997 Worlds in the 4x100, and added a silver in that event in 2003. At the World University Games Miller won gold in the 4x1 in 1995.

Miller was a graduate of Southern Cal, like her father, but her college career was hampered by injuries and she never placed at the NCAAs. She was USA Champion in the 100 in 1999 and the 200 in 1997. Her time of 21.77 in winning the 1999 Worlds remained in the all-time top 15 performers through 2018. A 1996 Olympic gold medalist in the 4x100, Miller also made the 2000 US Olympic team but withdrew with a strained hamstring.

Miller later formed Miller-Hawkins Productions with Jill Hawkins, which is a corporate and social event planning company.
