Teodor Koskenniemi only narrowly missed the medal ranks in the individual races, finishing fourth in the 5,000 m and sixth in the cross-country run. But with the team he was one of the Finnish runners counting for the team score. In 1919, he was a Finnish champion in the 5,000 meters.
