Franz Lemnitz finished 26th in the 320 km individual road race at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, which was held as an individual time trial. This helped Germany finish sixth in the team road race in 1912, as he was among the four best German finishers. Germany had all 11 team members finish the race, the only nation to do so.
