SHANGHAI - Comments from France's B-Girl Syssy after the Breaking Pre-Selection at the OQS Budapest on Saturday.
B-Girl Syssy - France
On getting the first routine out of the way:
“I feel really good, the stage is so nice. The audience is nice too, I felt the energy. I’m really happy with how I did and I hope it’ll stay like this.
“I feel so excited. I hope to be qualified, because I’ve trained hard. Let’s hope, we will see.”
On the chance to represent France at an Olympic Games at home:
“I would be really proud if I can represent France. I hope the audience will be super crazy. I’ve been preparing hard. I did a lot of test competitions, I prepared physically, it’s been a really long journey, but it’s really good.”
On the challenge of not repeating moves in breaking:
“I love to create moves, so it’s not a problem for me. I love to be original. So I try not to repeat myself because it gives me points. I try to have a lot of different moves and I play with it on stage. We don’t know the music before so I just adapt to the music.”
