The only AAU title that Marilyn White of UCLA won was the indoor 220y in 1963, but she was in the top flight of U.S. sprinters for a number of seasons. At the 1963 Pan American Games she took a gold medal with the 4×100 metres relay team (with Vivian Brown, Willye White, and the non-Olympian Norma Harris) and a bronze medal in the 100 metres. Marilyn White placed fourth in the 100 m in Tokyo and ran the third leg on the relay team that took the silver medals.
Personal Bests: 100 – 11.51 (1964); 220y – 24.3 (1965).
